Picdar announces new releases of its Media Mogul workflow and digital asset management solutions designed to keep publishers ahead in today s game of information frenzy. Picdar is launching Version 2 of its strategic Media Mogul jSuite enterprise solution at Newstec. This content management solution gives publishers the opportunity to step-change the way they handle content, copy, images, pages and so on to publish leading newspapers, magazines and websites. Media Mogul jSuite establishes a whole new way to find and organise information, by personalising the viewpoint for each individual according to their role, interests and history. The aim is for editorial users to achieve order and add creativity in an environment which is otherwise cluttered by the frenzy of new and archived information. Media Mogul jSuite handles any digital files and provides a vast array of tools to find, share, use and create content in a busy newspaper editorial floor. The new features in Version 2 include a better user interface, collaborative tools, and an array of image management and selection facilities. These build on the page and story management tools which were core features of Version 1. One workflow feature which has generated particular interest is the ability to drag and drop images from this browser application directly into Quark pages, incorporating full support for high resolution image replacement. Picdar has a track-record for delivering digital asset management and workflow applications that meet local business needs. With 4ej, Picdar pushes the envelope even further, with built-in support for flexible workflows and information security based on locally configurable business rules. Media Mogul jSuite is a J2EE application which can be implemented on just about any server platform and applications server architecture, with secure networked internet or intranet access. It offers incredible power from a browser application, with no need for client software to be installed on local machines, keeping cost of ownership down. Picdar is also demonstrating the latest version of its Media Mogul publishing workflow solution at Newstec. Said Lesley Steinitz, CEO, Picdar, "Media Mogul jSuite offers publishers the means to capitalise on their assets the massive volumes of information and content they have gathered and created. Our innovative approach is knocking people's socks off!"
